Set in the heart of the 2011 Montreal music scene, Mile End Kicks stars Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria) as Grace Pine, a young music critic on a mission to survive a dive-bar summer and write the ultimate book on Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill.Grace tries to remain a detached observer, but as she falls for the members of a local indie band (and navigates a male-dominated industry), her plans quickly unravel into a messy, funny, and neon-lit ride through ambition and heartbreak.
