Project Barley Redondo Beach is super excited to announce our Singer Songwriter Showcase Series hosted by Mikey Jerome. We will be showcasing local Singer Songwriters every other month beginning this coming Tuesday Aug 1st 8-11pm sitting waterfront in the Redondo Beach Marina. There will be 8 artist each event playing 3 of their “originals” no covers. If you are a local musician that has your own material and interested in joining us at some point please send video of you performing to our DM and Mikey and I will review and reach out if we plan to add you to the roster. Our first two event are 100% booked but we intend on this being a long term event so please submit if you are interested. This is a free show. Mikey is a Singer Songwriter from Long Island New York. His major influences began with John Prine a folk singing legend. His dad bought him a nylon string guitar at 16 years old. That was on of the greatest gifts his son could possibly imagine. His moving lyrics and ability to connect with his audience is beautiful.

Originally from Oklahoma, Craig Machen got his start in show business working security at wrestling matches and rock concerts in high school. Since then he’s written screenplays for Ivan Reitman, Ben Stiller, MTV and others, and had his music featured on the Songwriters Across Texas radio show and the Texas Country Now playlist on Spotify. Craig lives in Redondo Beach, California.

Victoria Vox

Victoria Vox, is a singer, songwriter and musician specializing in the ukulele (A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Vox now resides in, California when not on tour.
At age 16, Vox spent a year living in France, living with a French family and becoming fluent in the French language. She began playing the guitar at age 17, a year before entering the Berklee College of Music where she lived in the same dorm
as singer-songwriter John Mayer who said he wrote the song Victoria from his 1999 EP Inside Wants Out about her.
Winter Grain

Winter Grain is married duo Kate and Secily Anderson. Kate just finished her 22-year Army career as a helicopter pilot. They've recorded at Bearcreek Studio with producer Ryan Hadlock (Brandi Carlile, The Lumineers, Foo Fighters just to name a few of his production credits). They just won a spot as the newest West Coast Songwriter members as well as the newest Operation Encore artist. In November they get to hang at Zac Brown's ranch for a retreat called Warrior Song. They played NAMM earlier this year, toured fairs with Out at the Fair, and will be at Bruns Amphitheater in October. Harmonies and guitar riffs are the heart of this band.
