What? Can it be true ? Will our little town of Brighton implode when Mike the Mic leave? Possibly.
This cosmic Swing Jazz troubadour has played in all the venues, streets and festivals in and around Brighton, responsible for bringing some of the best Swing Jazz players in the world together to entertain us in our little sea side town for the last two decades! He really is part of the fabric that makes Brighton what it is and we can’t beleive he’s really going BUT he is! SO, we are organising a leaving party and gig for the one and only Mike The Mic our dear friend and esteemed musician.
There will be guest musicians a plenty, party food, a historic slide show of his shows and collaborators over the years and much much joy and celebration of this singular musician who has touched many peoples lives with his music and unique spirit.
