Race entry is $10 plus a minimum $10 donation. Proceeds help support the Bob Warnicke Scholarship Program, which provides educational scholarships to BMX families and members.
The Warnicke Memorial Scholarship Fund was successfully launched with one goal in mind – to meet the costs of undergraduate, trade school, or other educational avenues students wish to pursue. In 2025, $57,000 in Bob Warnicke scholarships have been awarded to deserving students and their families.
Funds are raised through a series of memorial races, the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, and private donors. Since 2013, USA BMX has proudly awarded more than $704,000 to hand-picked recipients.
Bob Warnicke’s leadership and selfless efforts played an integral role in the surging growth of BMX; including the sport’s exposure to millions of viewers through ESPN’s airing of the “Road to Glory Series.” Warnicke’s legacy lives on by contributing to the futures of commendable USA BMX and BMX Canada members. This year, 74 awards ranging from $500 – $3,000 were given out to recipients across 27 states and three Canadian provinces.
