Mike Hasty plays a mix of classic rock, country, folk and Americana, and is known for his passionate style on guitar and harmonica. He is a descendant of a musical family whose roots go back to medieval Scotland, where the Hasty's were the pipers for the Graham clan. In the '90s, his original band Michael & the Archangels played festivals, rallies and fundraisers all over the DC metropolitan area, and were featured on local radio and television. He then moved to West Virginia, where he played drums for a number of bands, and founded the folk/gospel group The Time Travelers, who still make appearances in the tri-state area. He currently lives in Luray VA.
