with her, we have everything we need in body, in mind, in spirit. let us meet by the fire, the meadow, under the moonlight, by the sycamore tree, in the setting sun, next to the wildflower's upturned petals and on land where each footstep touches the sacred -
~All offerings are optional and are loosely structured to allow for the flow of the weekend and for the influence of the spring winds ~
* Honoring the element of the wind, expansiveness, the migration of the birds and the animal world as well as our own migrations in life's journey
*Experience the deep ancestral sacredness of the Spirit House
*We will connect to the songs of the birds as they begin to settle into their summer homes at the end of their migration and we will explore the different ways to identify them using song, size, color pattern and behaviour. Hope Springs rests on 130 acres of protected forest and prairie including 3 ponds.
*A night hike on the search for owls who live on the property under the full moon
*Enjoying the butterflies, spring frogs, mushrooms, wildflowers and moths of spring
*An optional migratory birding and plant hike will be offered in the forest and sun filled prairies of the Arc of Appalachia Nature Preserve - a 3,000 acre wildland where we will immerse in the beautiful scenery, plants, animals and birds we encounter. There are rare nesting warblers on this land as well that we will try to locate. You do not need to know or have interest in birds to join.
*Each bird and animal has its own medicine, it’s own teachings, meaning and symolism we will explore through the work of Jaime Sams, Native American Holy Person
*Sacred feminine rhythm - Earth songs, Yogic Indian chants and Native American Indigenous music will be shared in sacred circle througout our time together
*Campfires, night walks, hot tub under the strawberry full moon energy and time to explore
*Sound healing and connecting to the land through ecotherapy practices
*Sacred time in the Spirit House located at Hope Springs
*Earth based slow moving yoga practices
*Tapping into our own wild nature
*Rest and as much quiet as you are called to
