Big Soundsystem session on The Mighty Tip A Tone Vintage HiFI with two special guests from Birmingham, UK!!!!Jonah and Dynamic D are playing as a selector and deejay (mic man) together since over 10 years now, but have been involved in Reggae Music way longer.
Jonah started buying records with his dad in the local record shop in Birmingham in the late sixties as a little kid. In the early eighties he started selecting at Blues dances kept at private houses. Later he was part of the Sound Eruption City and played big sounds like Leisure??? (Gladdy Wax old sound).
Dynamic D used to be part owner of a Roots sound by name of Sypher and played with all the big sounds from London like Shaka, Jah Tubbys from the early eighties onward.
Jonah and Dynamic D both grew up in Birmingham and even went to the same senior school, however it took almost 40 years until they teamed up and started as a duo. Since then they have been playing all over England and certain place in Europe. “As you get older It’s all about enjoyment really. I like to see everybody enjoying themselves. We play with the intention that people are supposed to be dancing… once everybody is happy and have a smile on their faces, me and Errol (Dynamic D) are nice“, says Jonah.
