Mifune Moods Presents: A Live Scoring of “The Hobbit (1977)”

There will be an film score performed by improvising collective Mifune Moods, while the movie is screening. There will be no sound from the film itself- the idea is to emulate a classic theatre-going experience from the silent movie era. There will be an intermission, and a surprise silent film at the beginning of the evening. The 1977 version of The Hobbit is a unique little thing that exists in refreshing contrast to Peter Jackson’s adaptation approach, you’re going to absolutely love it!
