Mifflin County Household Hazardous Waste Event

• After registering please print out your ticket and bring it to the event or have the confirmation available on your phone.

• When registering, choose "1" from the drop-down menu. Ticket is PER VEHICLE not per person or item.

• Materials must be in the trunk of the car or bed of the truck.

• Containers WILL NOT BE RETURNED.

• This event is restricted to items from households only.

• If you cannot attend the event, please cancel your appointment, since others may be waiting for an opening.

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:

• Fertilizers• Pool Chemicals• Antifreeze• Bleaches• Aerosol Cans• Cleaners• Deodorizers• Corrosives/Flammables• Drain Cleaners• Oil Based Paint (No Latex)• Motor Oil • Antifreeze • CFL bulbs (also taken at Lowes)• Fluorescent tubes• Mercury/Mercury Containing Devices• Rechargeable Batteries• Auto Batteries

WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED: Latex Paint, Disposable Batteries, Ammo or Explosives, propane tanks, Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Detectors.
