Join the Chemistry Department for the First Annual Midwestern MOF Conference (a part of the Kilpatrick Lecture Symposium) on Friday, September 13th, 2024. As a part of the Kilpatrick Lecture Symposium that honors the legacy of Professors Martin and Mary Kilpatrick who were innovative teachers and researchers at Illinois Tech, the Midwestern MOF Conference continues to engage new and engaging research and address real-world challenges in materials science, catalysis, sensing, pharmaceuticals, therapeutics, and sustainability
This full-day conference will include a Keynote Speech from Professor Susumu Kitagawa from Kyoto University, a poster session showcasing the amazing research done by high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. This conference provides a platform for researchers, scientists, professionals, students, and those interested in the field of Chemistry and interdisciplinary discussions.
This conference will host two lecture sessions and one poster session. Our invited speakers for this year are Prof. Hong-Cai Zhou, Prof. Omar Farha, Prof. Will Dichtel, Prof. Shengqian Ma, Prof. Randall Snur, Prof. Pingyun Feng, Prof. Jing Li, and Prof. Joseph Hupp.
