Get ready for a Poetry Performance for the ages! On March 22nd, 2025, two of the Midwest's most prolific and longest running performance poets team up for a Midwest Poetry Summit in Rockford, IL. With a combined 40+ years of performing entertaining and heartfelt spoken word around the country, Adam Gregory Pergament (aka FlowPoetry) and Christopher D. Sims are set to share an afternoon of lyrical jams, deeply inspirational poetic explorations, and rhythmic word play. In addition to their performances, a brief open mic will take place between sets for poets in the audience who arrive early and sign-up to read.
The event runs from 1-3 pm and there is a suggested donation of $10 at the door to support the performers and Inscape Collective. No one will be turned away!
