LEARN, HUNT, BUY...MOREL MUSHROOMS during Ottawa's Midwest Morel Fest. We're excited to welcome back this beloved, one-day event in Ottawa, IL. This unique festival offers everything mushrooms from the morel enthusiast to the curious observer!Join us at the Jordan Block where you can shop and peruse through a large Botanical Market and Morel Market offering everything...you guessed it...MUSHROOMS! We'll even have MOREL UNIVERSITY where you can learn to identify morels, so you know what to look for when you're hiking through on your guided hunt!
Schedule:
7:30 am - Hunt and Morel Market sign-in
8-8:30 am - Morel University
8:45 am - Busses depart for guided hunt
9 am - 4pm - Morel Market
10:00 AM Mother's Day Craft (free while supplies last)
9 - 11:30 am - Guided hunt
12 pm - 3pm - Kaedon Cronkright preforms.
12:30 pm - Awards
