🎶 WHAT IS THE MID-WEST HARMONICA EXPERIENCE?
The Mid-West Harmonica Experience is a one-day regional gathering for harmonica players of all experience levels.
Our goal is simple: learn, play, meet other harmonica players, and have a great day together.
We're bringing together players from Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, Clevland, Indianapolis, Louisville, and surrounding areas for a full day of instruction, playing, jamming, and fellowship.
👨‍🏫 FIVE HOURS OF INSTRUCTION
We'll have five hours of harmonica instruction featuring:
🎵 Todd Parrot
🎵 Charlie Barath
🎵 David S. Burk
And a final musical performance by the award winning Joe Waters
We'll cover a variety of playing styles, techniques, ideas, and approaches to help us become better and more confident players.
No matter where we are in our harmonica journey, there will be something to take away.
🎤 OPEN MIC
Want to play for the group?
We'll have an Open Mic during the event.
Sign-up is required.
More information about sign-up will be posted soon.
🎸 JAM
We'll also have time to put the instruction into practice with a group jam.
🍕 PIZZA LUNCH
A pizza lunch will be available for attendees.
Pizza must be preordered with your ticket or on the day: $15 per person
More details about the lunch options will be included during registration.
💻 VIRTUAL OPTION
Can't make it to Dayton?
We're working to provide a virtual participation option so players who can't attend in person can still be part of the Mid-West Harmonica Experience.
Virtual registration details will be posted with the ticket information.
🏨 WHERE TO STAY
There are numerous hotel and Airbnb options within approximately five minutes of the venue.
Airbnb also has some excellent multi-bedroom options that could make it possible for several attendees to split the cost of lodging.
We'll make a separate post with lodging suggestions and information.
