Well, butter my biscuit and call me a casserole—it's time to give the Midwest the culinary glory it deserves! Arnold’s Bar and Grill is tickled pink to announce Midwest Fest, a weekend devoted to celebrating all things Midwestern, from food to brews to tunes that’ll have you saying, “Oh, for cute!”
Let’s face it: the Midwest isn’t exactly known as a foodie destination, but we’re here to change that, dontcha know? We’re taking our region’s greatest hits and putting a little razzle-dazzle on them. Arnold’s brand-spanking-new chef, Korry Wolfgang, will be serving up elevated takes on some Midwest classics. And no, we’re not just talking ranch dressing—though there might be a dollop or two if you’re lucky.
But wait, there’s more! What would a Midwest celebration be without the holy trinity of brews? We’ve got PBR, Old Style, and—because we like to keep it classy—Natural Light. And for the brave souls out there, we’ve even got a bottle of Malört behind the bar. It’s the liquid equivalent of a Midwest winter: harsh, but it builds character.
The fun doesn’t stop with the food and drinks. Midwest Fest is bringing the tunes, too. On Friday, January 24, tap your toes to the St. Louis-style blues of 46 Long from 8-11 PM. Then, on Saturday, January 25, break out your dancing shoes for some foot-stomping live polka from The Polka Warriors (yes, polka warriors!) from 8-11 PM. If that doesn’t scream Midwest, we don’t know what does.
So grab your flannel, call up your cousins, and get ready to have a hoot and a half at Midwest Fest! It all goes down Friday, January 24, and Saturday, January 25, right here at Arnold’s Bar and Grill in Cincinnati. It’s gonna be a real humdinger, folks.

We're taking Cincinnati's beloved goetta, throwing in some Velveeta (because, of course), Worcestershire sauce, and rye seasoning, then wrapping it all in an egg roll and deep-frying it. If that’s not enough Midwest decadence, we’re serving it with smoked ranch for dipping—because ranch is basically a food group here.
Deep-Fried Pickle Rolls
What’s better than a pickle? A pickle slathered with cream cheese, wrapped in chipped beef, breaded, deep-fried, and served with—you guessed it—smoked ranch. It’s the culinary equivalent of a warm Midwest hug.
