Freestyle Now will be hosting a FREE coaching jam session at the Midvale skatepark for skateboard scooter and BMX riders. Participants will be able to learn new tricks or get advice on tricks and gain new confidence levels but most of all everyone can have a stack of fun. These workshop sessions are more than just helping teach skills. These workshops are fun, informative and motivational.
The squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. All our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well. Our workshops cover all aspects of the sports, as well as equipment maintenance and personal safety issues.
Throughout the skatepark jam session a variety of challenges will cater for all levels of abilities and be all inclusive for skateboard, BMX and scooter. This is a chance for participants to showcase their abilities amongst their peers and for the community to see the skatepark participants excelling in a positive way. Some of the types of challenges that might take place would include best trick, longest manual, best trick on a certain part of the skatepark, most engaged rider, best youngest rider, etc. Prizes are given out to the winners of the challenges.
