Also on the program, Spanish conductor Juanjo Mena leads the orchestra in James Lee III Sukkot Through Orions Nebula, composed with a vision of two heavens the spiritual (Orions Nebula) and the physical (the Jewish observance of Sukkot), where happy family feasts take place outside under tents. The evening concludes with Schumanns striding Fourth Symphony.
