About this Event
==============================
The western anthropological approach to kinship often delves into complex binary relations and academic debates, sometimes overanalyzing cultural systems and their differences.
Yet, at its core, kinship is about caring for one another within a community, sharing stories of similar descendental experiences: the challenges, uncertainties, breakthroughs, and encouraging achievements. Understanding each other doesn't always require workshops or courses; the bond of kinship runs deep, connecting us in profound ways beyond academic discourse.
Returning to our shores for the second time, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, who instantly understood our approach in releasing music and curated "Midnight is Comin" for our label's tenth year of existence, didn't need to go through a typical strenuous chin-stroking A&R process. It was all done with trust, love, and the deep kinship that bonded his friends and shared our Asian-rooted values.
Pairing up with ¥ØU$UK€-san is Haan, our team's quarterback. Hear as he explores the connection between our physical and mental states, debuting our Kin series with extended storytelling sets.

About ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U
Depending on who you ask, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U is the best DJ in the world. Or at least in Japan. The eccentric Osaka-born, Tokyo-based DJ has built up an arsenal of fans and disciples—most famously Tzusing—who revere his cross-genre approach and knack for out-of-this-world blends. Case in point: he recently released a mostly ambient mixtape that somehow felt more gripping and propulsive than many techno DJ sets. He also used that release, Midnight Is Comin, to highlight Japan's underrepresented experimental electronic music scene, another sign of his wide-ranging and unusual tastes.
About Haan
Since his debut in Singapore’s thriving clubbing circuit, Haan has been steadily securing gigs at respectable establishments. These include home ground venues such as Tanjong Beach Club, Ku De Ta Singapore, Club KYO, Art Bar and clubs like Sankeys (Manchester, UK), Sophbeck Sessions (Leicester, UK), Dielectric (Leicester, UK) and most recently HOR Radio (Berlin, DE) during his overseas stints.
