Midnight in Venice

Your host Lady Midnight on behalf of Semele Events, welcomes you to a masquerade ball at a beautiful venue in downtown Norfolk. This is a lifestyle event; we look forward to having you join us for a night of violent delights.

● There will be fantastic entertainment, including a DJ and stellar live performances.

● There are two bars on-site at the event. Beer and wine are complimentary all night long. Other drinks are included only with Premier, Elite, or VIP upgrades. (This is to comply with state regulations)

The Details

Lady Midnight will take you on a fantastic adventure through Carnevale with live fire and acrobatic performances. Our MC will be running a few fun competitions throughout the evening. In addition, there will be amazing raffles for you to try and snatch up. You can dance the night away in the ballroom, lounge and dine in VIP, or indulge in your dark desire. There is a place for everyone to have a great time, no matter your experience or taste.

On the night we will host a burlesque competition. If you are ready to show off your seductive prowess, you can sign up for one of the eight spots in the competition to win a cash prize. Dress Code: Formal Attire, we encourage everyone to dress up in formal attire, but it is not required. However, carnival masks are mandatory. We will be awarding prizes for Best Mask and Best Dressed. In addition, we will have a monitored coat check area to store your gear.

The premier add-on package offers four mixed drinks and two raffle tickets.

The elite add-on package offers four mixed drinks, two raffle tickets, two bath robes, and two towels to use during the event. This add-on also offers a skip-the-line pass to enter the playrooms.

[Please note that there will not be a cash bar onsite at the event; the only way to purchase mixed drinks at the event will be through our upgrade packages]

The VIP package includes priority entry into the venue the night of the event. A VIP couple or single ticket gets you a single or couple seat in a shared VIP booth. You will receive bottle and table-side service and luxury cold hors d'oeuvres and deserts served at your booth throughout the evening. VIPs will have an exclusive play area accessible only to our VIP guests. Additionally, you will be able to reserve our red room for private use and photoshoots (with consent from everyone in the room), reserved parking close to the venue, and six raffle tickets. Finally, VIP guests will have an exclusive after-party for themselves and a guest of their choice that will keep the party going until 5 am.

Rules and Decorum

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by these rules. Follow the instructions of Semele Event staff and staff and security at the venue. Failure to comply with the rules may result in you being asked to leave and/or banned from future events.

This event is for adults 21 and up only.

Please Respect The Venue And Their Staff

No Still, Video, Or Digital Cameras Are Allowed beyond the Lobby

No outside alcohol is allowed.

Smoking Of Any Kind Is Prohibited Inside The Venue: This includes vaping, e-cigarettes, cigarettes, and cannabis products. But, of course, you are welcome to smoke outside.

No Illegal Activity Is Permitted: Semele Events does not allow any illegal activity, including but not limited to drugs, prostitution, or gambling. We have worked hard to provide a safe, secure, relaxing environment for everyone to enjoy. We will do everything we can to protect our guests and the venue. Anyone found doing anything illegal will receive a permanent ban. ABSOLUTELY NO ILLEGAL DRUGS

Excessive Drinking Will Not Be Tolerated

No Fighting: Physical altercations between guests will not be tolerated.

No Weapons Allowed: Everyone is here to make new friends and have fun. No one can have a weapon inside the venue or on venue property. Guns are not allowed, even if they are unloaded. Do not bring them inside the venue. Any violations of this rule will result in a permanent ban.

You must follow the directions of venue staff, security, and Semele Team Members.

You Are Responsible For Maintaining Your Own Safety While Inside The Venue

Criminal Convictions Can Bar You From Attending: Semele Events values the safety of our guests. Therefore, we do not allow registered sex offenders to attend our events. As well as anyone with public records and convictions for violent assault, stalking, and harassment. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be screened for these offenses. If you are registered as a sex offender, you will not be allowed to enter and will not receive a refund. Semele Events reserves the right to evaluate other offenses on a case-by-case basis.

This masquerade is an event where all are welcome to mix and mingle in the safest environment we can provide. Discrimination based on sex, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or ability is not permitted. We are honored that you've chosen to join us.
