🥾 8 miles 🥾 Moderate 🥾 Leader: Emma L 🥾We start off walking through Fairburn and then out into open countryside and through a small wood to Ledsham where there is a medieval church dating from the 8th century. From there, we continue through another small wood to Ledston, and then on to RSPB 🐦 Fairburn Ings where we will try to commandeer some picnic tables to have lunch at, and you can get a hot drink from the café ☕. We then return to the cars through the nature reserve where we can see a variety of birdlife.
This walk includes some road walking, fields and woodland, and is likely to be muddy! There are several kissing gates and one stile; no major hills, just a nice steady 8 mile walk.

🚻 There are toilets at the RSPB visitor centre where we are stopping for lunch
🍺 After the walk, we can head to the pub in Fairburn for a drink
