Next year, Midleton Arts Festival 2025 will unfurl its branches and embrace the theme of "Trees!" 🌳With so many of our beautiful old trees being cut down recently we d like to celebrate the ones that are left and let them know we care.
When a tree is cut down in the forest, neighboring trees extend their root tips to provide sustenance, and even trees of different species offer their support. This interconnectedness can sustain the fallen tree for decades and even centuries.
This phenomenon highlights a broader ecological awareness, suggesting that these trees understand their survival is intricately linked to the health of the entire forest and to other life forms.
This serves as a metaphor for our community in Midleton, where we present the arts to promote interconnectedness and celebrate our creativity and diversity.
