Midian: A Revival | Future Yard

Midian – The darker side.
A blend of twisted party tracks covering goth, industrial, EBM, darkwave, new wave, electro, dark alternative 80s, and more. Established in 2002 under the guidance of Tags, the Gothfather, Midian began as a club night sanctuary for those that were drawn to the gothic and eager to dance. It initially rotated between venues in Liverpool and the Wirral, with organisation handed over to DJ sistercarrion and Jay in 2003, until 2007 when health and venue problems led to the sad closure of the event.
Fast forward to last year, when a revival occurred—a reunion and what was intended as a one-time party, celebrating what Midian stood for and the happiness it brought to the Merseyside goth community.
Due to the overwhelming response, Midian: A Reunion is scheduled to return once more to Future Yard this September with another one-off (two-off?) revival event. Featuring original Midian DJs Grimly Fiendish, Kix, and sistercarrion, we’re ready to shadow dance through the night again.
