Dr. Cassandravictoria (Cvic) Innocent’s career is the development of innovations across the deep-tech, sustainability & De-Fi sectors, and so she draws upon her experience as an investor, a serial-entrepreneur/founder, and as a former researcher to support startups and small businesses through venture capital. She is the General Partner for Frankenbuild Ventures – a VC firm focused on founders building the hardtech of climate tech, where extreme environments and sustainability collide. Here, she brings unique insight in evaluating both the viability of technologies as well as market readiness for innovative technologies. The Frankenbuild Ventures team is excited to validate the impact of scientific and engineering discoveries to serve four major sustainability sectors: space deeptech and dual-use, the blue economy, infrastructure, and green energy.
Conor Riffle is Senior Vice President, Smart Cities at Rubicon (NYSE:RBT), where he co-founded and leads the company’s SaaS technology business. Rubicon’s software powers solid waste, street sweeping, and snow removal operations in more than 100 cities across North America, including Phoenix, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Washington DC, Baltimore, and Kansas City. The business has earned multiple national awards for its innovative, software-first approach to heavy-duty fleet operations; the product was named as a Fast Company World Changing Idea in 2021, a Best SaaS Smart City Solution by CFI, and it earned three back-to-back Smart 50 Awards starting in 2019. Most recently, in 2023 Rubicon was recognized as the Rising Star Partner of the Year by Amazon Web Services for the significant year-on-year growth of its Smart City business. In the last year, the business more than doubled its size, announcing new customers including the cities of Austin, Texas and Denver, Colorado. Conor and the story of Rubicon’s software business are currently featured in an episode of the Amazon Prime series, Climate Next.
Jason Greenfield is Managing Partner at Crescent Harbor Private Wealth.
Jason began his career as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch in Denver, CO. He started as a sole proprietor and pivoted during the pandemic to assist a number of established Merrill teams in the Denver area grow their business and service clients. In April 2021, Jason returned to his home state of New York to continue to grow his circle of clients with Merrill.
Prior to Merrill, Jason spent ten years in hospitality where he cultivated a passion for service and deep belief in the importance of creating an enjoyable experience for clients.
Jason embodies the principles taught to him over the years by his uncle and mentor, David Komansky, former CEO of Merrill Lynch. Mr. Komansky was instrumental in building Merrill Lynch’s principled and client-driven culture -- better known as Mother Merrill. His teachings inspired Jason and his partner John to create Crescent Harbor in May 2023 with a focus of always putting the client first.
Heidi Diemer is a wealth management professional with over 15 years of experience. Throughout her career, Heidi has followed her passion in this field, pursuing and executing roles in boutique asset management, investor relations, and venture capital. She now resides in New York City bringing the gamut of her experience to Legacy Capital as the Chief Investment Officer. While Heidi thrives on staying on top of industry trends in her field, the clients she serves are at the forefront of her focus and practice. While delivering results, she also builds lasting relationships and genuine care for those she serves. She has also served as an Executive Director for Junior Achievement--a non-profit teaching business skills and principles to under-served youth. In her free time, Heidi enjoys travel, fitness, culinary adventures, and a passion for learning.
Marilyn D. Landis is the President & CEO of Basic Business Concepts, Inc., a multifaceted service firm providing the support to keep businesses financially balanced, on track and growing. “We provide entrepreneurs access to affordable CFO-level skills that are customized to their unique business” The CFO focuses on strategy and risk and is the forward-thinking financial resource to the management team. In this role, Landis has twenty-five years of experience working with small businesses across all industries nationwide, providing financial CFO leadership. Directly, and with her team, she has enabled clients to improve their financial resilience through sound financial planning, improved financial reporting, enhanced cash flow management and improved funding options. Landis has over thirty years of experience in financial services. Prior to focusing on her own business she worked for and with commercial lenders, banks and small businesses throughout Western Pennsylvania. In her career, she has served as a financial consultant; headed training, consumer loans and mortgage departments; collected delinquent loans; and coordinated operations for a multi-bank merger. Marilyn has worked for three of the largest SBA lenders in the country – marketing, originating and underwriting SBA loans.
