In this 4 week series students will learn the basics of handbuilding to create functional and sculptural ceramics. Such as cups, mugs, bowls and sculptural vessels. Working with midfire clay, we will explore various methods of building forms and decorative techniques. Students will be able to utilize a wide array of glazes and colors while learning techniques such as mishima, sgraffito, and glaze inlay. No experience is necessary and all levels are welcome.
