Middlesbrough College Prevent & Safeguarding Conference for Employers

Join us in person for the Middlesbrough College Prevent & Safeguarding Conference! Aimed at our stakeholders, this is a great chance to connect, learn, and share ideas about keeping everyone safe and promoting a positive environment. Whether you're new to safeguarding or a seasoned pro, there's something for everyone. Don't miss out on this important event – come along and be part of the conversation!

We will be joined in the morning by:

Chris Sybeng - DfE Regional CONTEST Coordinator North East

Claire & Jacqui - Cleveland Counter Terrorism Police - Channel

Andrew Shippey - Community Safety Partnership Officer

to provide an oversite on regional concerns, how to recognise and report radicalisation, and support those in the channel process.

In the afternoon, the Middlesbrough College Mental Health & Safeguarding team will be covering our in house procedures around supporting students struggling with mental health and how you can support them from an employers point of view.
