On Wednesday August 13th at 10:00am Orpheus Collar presents a look back at the imagery of the books and how they were made. Orpheus shows visits from around the world searching for the mythological origins in preparation for his graphic novels and discussing the role archeology and sketching from life aids in his process creating vivid graphic fantasy stories. Audience will be provided paper to sketch on and are encouraged to draw and doodle along. In addition to the slide presentation, Orpheus will demo any requests for drawings and will be available to sign books for attendees. Suggested ages 5 and up
This program is designed to empower community members to tap into creativity, artistic literacy, and expression while also creating opportunity for positive social interaction, idea exchange and relaxation.
