Middle-earth Yule Party

Join SoCaliquendi, a Tolkien Society Smial, for our first Middle-earth Yule Party at Serpentine Cider in San Diego! The party will be December 6 from 5-9pm at 8665 Miralani Drive, #100, San Diego, CA.

Join us for a night full of:

• Hobbit-themed Food & Drink
• Live Tolkien readings
• White Oliphant gift exchange*
• Middle-earth themed Craft table
• Costume Contest

* Participation not required. If participating, please keep gifts to $20 or less in value.

Tickets are $20 per person. Each ticket includes:

• Guaranteed entry
• Your first drink (non-alcoholic options available for underage or non-drinkers)
• A $10 gift card to use at Serpentine Cider at a later date
• Access to photo station and background
• Access to the night's festivities!

All ages welcome. All ticket sales support the venue Serpentine Cider and helps to ensure they can continue to open their doors for more community events like this in the Southern California area!

The SoCaliquendi Smial is the official Southern California Tolkien Society collective of Tolkien fans and enthusiasts. Our goal is to promote the enjoyment, exploration, and study of the life and work of J.R.R Tolkien while also being an inclusive and safe community.

Info: Check in for the event will be from 5-6pm. You must check in with Bree at the front door to receive your free drink and gift card. She will be checking people in until 6pm. After that, it is YOUR responsibility to track her down, check in with her, and get your free goodies. They will not be given out after the event.

Info: Now is the time to order food or additional drinks you would like to start with! We will also open our craft table for you to enjoy! Our photo station will also be available to you throughout the event!

Info: Starting at 6pm, enjoy a selection of Tolkien readings presented by members of SoCaliquendi, a Tolkien Society Smial!

Info: We will start the White Oliphant gift exchange at 7pm. Participation is not required. If participating, please keep gifts to $20 or less in value.

Info: The kitchen closes at 8pm, so now is the time to put any last food orders in that you would like for the night!

Info: We will announce the winners of our costume contest, and award them prizes!

Info: The craft table will close at 8:30 to ensure the event is done by 9pm.

Info: Last call for any additional drinks you want from the bar! We close at 9pm so now is the time to order a last glass of cider or get any cans of cider to go home with you.
