9 week course
For 5th - 12th grade students
Wednesdays 12:30 - 2:30 pm
$252/student (18 hours x $14/hour)
This course will focus on principles of art that are aligned with the national visual arts standards.
The key concepts will be explored while developing skills using various mediums such as pencil, oil pastel, ink, paint, clay, etc.
We will also study and create in the style of many art masters throughout time and geography!
Our goal is for each student to build an amazing art portfolio by the end of the course.
This semester's projects are all new! If your student has participated in previous semesters of homeschool art, we will not repeat projects from those courses.
The instructor for this course is the wonderful Kerry Lang! Kerry taught homeschool art last semester, many art camps this year, and was a middle and high school classroom art teacher in Las Cruces. She also homeschooled her own children for many years!
The registration fee is $252/student (18 hours x $14/ hour) and includes ALL supplies. There is a 10% discount each for sibling groups. The course fee may be paid in full or in three monthly installments. Course fees are due at the time of registration.
