Matt Sellick is a guitarist and composer from Thunder Bay, Ontario, specializing in instrumental flamenco music. Described as “one of Canada’s finest flamenco guitarists today” by fellow Canadian guitarist Jesse Cook, his music is inspired by the lakes and forests of Northwestern Ontario, and by the landscapes in the south of Spain. In his hometown, he is best-known for his solo performances with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra and Consortium Aurora Borealis. Since moving to Toronto in 2019, Matt performs his music in small ensemble configurations and tours internationally with guitarist Jesse Cook. In addition to producing four albums of his original guitar music, Matt has written orchestral arrangements for much of his original repertoire. In 2025, Matt recorded and released these arrangements as his fifth album, Watching the Sky.
Marito Marques is a Grammy, Latin Grammy, JUNO, and IPMA-winning drummer, composer, and producer from Portugal, now based in Toronto. A child prodigy who began performing at age five, he is known for his versatile, global musical style and collaborations with artists including Saya Gray, Donna Grantis, Jeff Coffin, Sara Tavares, Ivan Lins, and Carlos do Carmo. He has contributed to acclaimed projects including the Grammy-winning album Immersed, and teaches at Humber College in Toronto.
