Houston has always done things its own way — and nothing captures that spirit quite like the Art Car. The series concludes with a colorful showcase of Houston's iconic Art Car culture along Winbern Street in conjunction with the Midtown Cultural Arts Mixer. Visitors can meet Art Car artists, view uniquely transformed vehicles, participate in a recycled art workshop, enjoy live music and entertainment throughout the evening, and meet Midtown’s first-ever Artist in Residency, DUAL.
Mid Main is a vibrant mixed-use district in the heart of Midtown Houston, located along the METRORail corridor and home to local restaurants, live music venues, independent retailers, galleries, vintage boutiques, and public art. Through year-round programming and partnerships with artists and cultural organizations, Mid Main continues to foster creativity, connection, and neighborhood vitality. Free and open to the public.
