Join the Verona Area International School, VAIS, for a story time about Mid-Autumn Festival. Stories, songs and a craft will explain the cultural significance and traditions of the Mid-Autumn or Moon Festival, a major holiday in Asia.After story time, the Zhong Yi Kung Fu Association will perform The Lion Dance at Alicia Ashman Library. Traditionally, during holidays such as Chinese New Year or Mid-Autumn festival, Lion Dance Troupes will visit various establishments throughout the community to perform the traditional dance.
All are welcome and no registration is required. Come and enjoy this exciting event for the whole family!
