About this Event

Mid-Autumn Festival, Zhongqiu Jie (中秋节) in Chinese, also known as the Mooncake Festival or Moon Festival, is one of China's biggest holidays. The festival is a joyous celebration with family reunions, mooncakes and pray for the good harvest. This year, the Mid-Autumn Festival falls on September 17th. Though Mid-Autumn Festival is a more well-known Chinese festival, many other Asian countries such as Japan, Korea, also observe and celebrate the same festival date but with different names.
the Mid-Autumn Festival is a Chinese celebration marked by the full moon, symbolizing unity and family reunion. Families gather to share mooncakes, light colorful lanterns. You will have a chance to indulge in the traditional iconic treats, mooncake, with a spread in different flavours, symbolizing unity and togetherness. This is the time for our community to unite, welcome the new term, and share in the warmth of shared experiences.
Apart from the delicious festive treats for each festival, you will also have a chance to try on traditional hanfu dressing.
Let's come together under the autumn moon to mark the beginning of a new term and celebrate the diverse culture that makes our community unique.
