Mid‑America Goju Karate Association is proud to host its first Annual Seminar for all Goju‑ryu practitioners. Our goal is to rebuild the once‑thriving Goju‑ryu community that spanned the Mid‑American states—especially Missouri, Oklahoma, and the surrounding region.This seminar will focus on Goju‑ryu kata and provide insight into recent Goju‑kai updates, including several fascinating new bunkai. We will also be teaching Jūjutsu Resuringusutairu, a blend of traditional Japanese Jujutsu and foundational wrestling skills designed to help Goju‑ryu practitioners become effective both on the ground and standing. In addition, we’ll cover practical stand‑up self‑defense, addressing a variety of common attacks and real‑world scenarios.
The seminar is open to everyone. Our mission is to strengthen and preserve our Goju‑ryu heritage in this part of the country.
Cost: $40 for four hours of training
