Microgreens Workshop at Ardkeen Library 2pm on the 22nd of July facilitated by Aileen Drohan from the Walton Institute.
This workshop will teach the basics of how to plant, care for and harvest #microgreens; which are nutrient-rich, young vegetable greens that are harvested early and offer intense flavours and a spectrum of nutrients. Growing these foods at home can help reduce the climate impact of food production and food waste.
This workshop is a partnership between Europe Direct Waterford, Waterford City and County Libraries and the Walton Institute(SETU).
