Microbiome health and fermentation workshop

Did you know that there are ten times more microbes in your body than human cells? Our body is home to 39 trillion microbes that work hard every day to keep us alive. Bacteria, viruses, and fungi inside us help us absorb nutrients, treat infections, and produce neurotransmitters that influence our brain functioning.

Join us for a deep dive into the fascinating world of the organic life within us. During this hands-on workshop, we will explore our microbiome, our gut-to-brain connections, and foods that support the production of psycho-biotic live organisms with mental health benefits.

During the workshop you will learn:

- How to remove from your diet modern foods that K*ll your microbiota diversity

- How your gut communicates with your brain

- Which foods nurture your gut health

During the practical part of the workshop, you will make your own fermented cabbage (sauerkraut). You will receive from us:

- A 1-liter jar

- Organic cabbage

- And everything you need for the fermentation process

About the facilitator:

Zuzanna is a nutritionist and health coach with a degree from a University in Denmark. She believes strongly in the power of nutrition which lead her to work with individuals, communities and organisations to find path for healthy, fun and sustainable eating. She is part of community gardens, community kitchens and various projects focused on promoting healthy diets and sustainable agriculture in the Netherlands, Poland and Denmark.
