About this Event
Have you ever had someone say something to you and later realized that the comment was hurtful? If so, then you may have been the recipient of a microaggression. Those subtle, sometimes unconscious comments that can build up and have a huge impact on our life. If so, then this workshop is for you. Through this interactive and engaging workshop, facilitated by NCCJ of Greater Dayton, participants gain an understanding of what microaggressions are, how they impact a person and ways that they can support someone and educate the individual making the microaggression.
CEUs
Montgomery County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services has been approved by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board to offer continuing education credit hours to Counselors and Social Workers (Provider #RCS111304) and has approved this training for 2 hours of Ethic CEUs.
Montgomery County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services has been approved by the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board to offer recognized clock hours to Chemical Dependency Counselors and Prevention Professionals (Provider #50-17863) and has approved this training for 2 hours of CEUs (C5, CC).
