About this Event

As part of the new Keeping it Wild Collective, London Wildlife Trust is inviting young people to take part in a FREE pilot workshop designed to teach practical skills, connect with nature, and shape the future of this exciting programme. Whether you’re a DIY enthusiast or have never used a hammer, we welcome you to join us!

🛠️ Our first micro-volunteering workshop will be taking place on:
📅 Date: Saturday, 1st February
⏰ Timing: 1:00pm – 3:30pm
📍 Location: Woodberry Wetlands

What to expect:

🐦 Build for Birds: Learn how to construct bird boxes that provide safe homes for urban wildlife and support London’s bird populations. This practical workshop will teach you the basics of assembling and maintaining bird boxes, with all materials provided.

🌿 Connect with Nature: Explore Woodberry Wetlands, one of London’s most beautiful nature reserves, and discover how small actions like building bird boxes can make a big difference to wildlife.

💡 Have Your Say: This workshop isn’t just about building – it’s about you! Share your feedback at the end of the session and help us shape the Keeping it Wild Collective into a youth-led programme that meets the needs of young Londoners.
