Hello folks, it has taken longer than we expected, but we’ve overcome the hurdles annnd… we did it! YAY!! Thank you Florida Power & Light, and Audubon Florida for the grant to help our Plants 4 Birds program plant a MicroForest at Turnbull Bay Park!Now we need volunteers!
This Friday May 10, 8:30am at Turnbull Street Park. Coffee and donuts and happy souls provided.
We will have an auger and other supplies, and 12 saplings- an assortment of native trees including oaks, pines, shrubs, and birches.
