Mick Conway Fundraiser

We would like to invite you to the charity fundraiser being held on Saturday, 21st February 2026, in Naomh Barrog GAA Club, in support of our colleague and friend Firefighter Mick Conway.

Mick served for many years as a firefighter on D Watch, North Strand, before transferring to the Control Room C Watch, HQ. Since transferring to HQ, Mick has been courageously battling cancer, a journey that has been extremely difficult for both him and his family.

Unfortunately, the outlook of Mick’s current treatment is no longer positive, and alternative treatment options abroad are now being explored. As you can imagine, this places an enormous financial strain on Mick and his family. This fundraiser has been organised to help ease that burden and to show our support during this incredibly challenging time.

As always within Dublin Fire Brigade, the response from members has been overwhelming, with so many people stepping forward to help organise and contribute to this event.

On the night, the fundraiser will include:

• Live music & DJ
• Finger food
• A raffle with over 50 prizes, including some fantastic items
