Join us for an informational session about free training for cannabis industry employers looking to create new jobs or expand operations
About this Event

As the cannabis industry evolves, it continues to be a strong career choice for those looking to develop the skills needed to lead teams and companies through this exciting time. As new operations and opportunities take shape, the cost of developing and implementing training for new staff may be a barrier.

To address these challenges, the State of Michigan has developed the Michigan New Jobs Training Program (MNJTP) program to provide flexible funding that meets an assortment of employee training and development needs specifically designed for your business. In partnership with the Professional Cannabis Education Network (PCEN) and Kalamazoo Valley Community College (KVCC), the MNJTP can now provide free training for cannabis industry employers that are creating new jobs and/or expanding operations in Michigan.

You are invited to join the Professional Cannabis Education Network and Kalamazoo Valley Community College to learn more about the Michigan New Jobs Training Program — and how your business can take advantage of this significant cost savings, provide customized training for your new employees, and take your operations to the next level. Funds can be used for any direct training expense including instruction, assessments, equipment, supplies, evaluation, and more.

This informational session will take place on Thursday, August 24 at 5:30 p.m. at Honor Credit Union, located at 4400 Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo.

Registration is free and space is limited, so RSVP today.

We look forward to seeing you there!
