1) Tournament will consist of two squads Squad 1 9:30AM check-in, 10:30 AM start and Squad 2 2pm check-in, 3pm start.
Limited to the first 24 teams per squad. You can bowl on both squads but you need to change 2 bowlers on your team
2) Teams shall consist of four (4) members in good standing of a Michigan 700 Bowling Club of America. All bowlers must be
USBC sanctioned. Unsanctioned participants may buy an associate USBC membership card ($24) or pay a participation fee ($5).
3) This is a handicap tournament. Each team will bowl three games receiving handicap of 90% of their combined entering
averages less than 920 per 3 games. Teams over 920 will bowl scratch.
4) Entering average:

Your highest composite USBC yearbook average of 21 or more games (as recorded on bowl.com).22-23, 23-24, 24-25
season.

If no composite average, then you will use your highest yearbook (winter) average from the 2024-2025 season, from any
certified league of 21 games or more. If no prior yearbook averages are available, then the highest current season USBC
certified league as of 10/18/2025 with 21 or more games.
●
Any Bowler with no average found will be assigned 230 average.
5) Closing times for available entries will be 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the squad (unless the squad is full).
6) All prize money will be returned 100% at a ratio of at least 1 prize for every 4 entries. If 20 teams compete at least 7 teams will
cash.
7) Each bowler must have bowled a certified 700 series and be a member in good standing of a State of Michigan 700 Club.
8) Nonmembers can become members by paying membership fees the day of the tournament.
9) Any bowler falsifying average will be disqualified in accordance with USBC Rule 319a-3 which states in part: Failure to use the
correct average shall disqualify a score if submitted average is lower than correct average thereby resulting in a lower classification or
more handicap. Prize winnings shall be based on the submitted average if it is higher than the correct average. In the case of a team
of two or more bowlers, the averages will be combined to determine if the correct total is higher or lower than the submitted total.
However, corrections in averages may be permitted up to the completion of the first game of the series.
10) All decisions of the tournament management are final unless an appeal is made in accordance with USBC rule 329.
11) Prize checks and tournament results will be mailed to team Captains and tournament results will be mailed to club Pin Buoys
within 10 days after the tournament ends.
12) USBC Rule 319a-2 (10 pin average rule), Rule 319e-2 (15 pin average rule) and 319d (prize winnings) are waived for all
participants in this tournament.
13) No prize money will be paid out the day of the tournament.
14) DRESS CODE: Any kind of pants (NO holes, tears, etc) or shorts (NO cut offs, gym, bike, etc.) may be worn. All pants and
shorts must be presentable, and CAN BE disallowed by the 700 Club Board. Tournament entry fees WILL NOT be returned. 700 Club
shirts SHOULD be worn!!! All bowlers MUST wear a collared shirt and the appropriate pants or shorts. NO HATS ALLOWED DURING
BOWLING IN THE TOURNAMENT.
