MICHELE STODART will be celebrating a year anniversary since the release of her award-winning album 'Invitation'('Remarkable'-Rolling Stone, 'intricately arranged...genuinely moving'-Mojo, 'beautiful...poignant and evocative'-Americana-UK, 'a thing of perfection' -Folk Radio UK).
On October 10th, Michele will be joined by her full band plus special guests at the iconic St.Pancras Old Church to celebrate this album as well as sharing some new songs!
It has been an incredible year for Michele and her music as a solo artist. Following the album release and completing a successful tour of the UK, she was awarded both 'Album of the Year' & 'Artist of the Year' at the UK Americana Awards in January 24.
She has since been invited to the US to showcase at Folk Alliance International at Americana Music week in Nashville, as well as various festivals and events around the UK, including the renowned Acoustic stage at Glastonbury Festival.
However, the last few months took an unexpected turn, as Michele ended up in hospital after a spontaneous disc prolapse, which left her suddenly unable to walk, eventually leading to urgent spinal surgery. After a period of rest and recovery, she's looking forward to returning to the stage.
This will be her first London show back with the full band - a special show celebrating not only the anniversary of the album, but also healing, recovery, transformation and the joy of connecting through playing live music.
