Led by Cuban trumpeter, composer and arranger Michel Padrón, this explosive 12-piece orchestra revives the golden age of Afro-Cuban jazz — channelling the sounds of Machito, Chano Pozo, Mario Bauzá, Dizzy Gillespie, Tito Puente and Bebo Valdés — while bringing fresh, powerful new compositions to the stage.
Expect irresistible rhythms, blazing horns, and the kind of infectious grooves that once set the Palladium Ballroom in New York on fire. This is Afro-Cuban jazz as it’s meant to be heard: bold, authentic, and impossible to sit still.
