Embracing the rich history of early blues, Michael’s powerful picking and slide really shine on material ranging from classic acoustic blues to self-penned songs & instrumentals.
He incorporates elements of his experience in the folk world and his love of the North East and its history into his style.

Having performed on the main acoustic stage of most of the major UK Blues festivals, as well as Lindisfarne & Ouseburn festivals, this is a rare chance to experience an intimate performance of songs and instrumentals in this unique atmospheric venue, including the award winning “Blink of an Eye” and a new song about the Victoria Tunnel, written especially for the occasion
Only 50 tickets are available for each performance. It's a constant 12 degrees in the Tunnel so guests should dress warmly and meet at the Tunnel Entrance on Ouse Street, behind the Hotel du Vin. Chairs will be provided. No food or drink is permitted in the Tunnel. Please avoid bringing a bag as space is limited.
