vivendo in un momento di crisi sconcertante - personale, relazionale, sociale, ambientale - rimaniamo spesso vuoti e intorpiditi oppure sopraffatti e consumati da ciò che è sbagliato, brutto, sgradevole,
asincronici
la disperazione sembra essere la valuta della nostra pandemia globale, con una stretta mortale sulle nostre speranze e sogni.
e se la nostra volontà di procurare e celebrare la bellezza rendesse possibile più bellezza ?
e se un atto di gentilezza, baciare il ginocchio sbucciato di un bambino, sorridere a uno sconosciuto, soffermarsi ad annusare il profumo di un fiore, piantasse i semi in modo che al mondo sbocciasse più bellezza e amore ?
prendiamoci cura del suolo, il terreno della nostra vita, interiore ed esteriore, per far crescere e coltivare i semi della semplice bellezza.
in questo workshop attraverso la lente della curiosità, della meraviglia e dello stupore, useremo il movimento, la poesia, l'arte, l'essere testimoni e il rituale per affinare le qualità del cuore
e cantare alle nostre anime le potenti e potenti qualità curative e unificanti di una bellezza diversa e unica.
SOUL MOTION è una pratica di movimento in cui coltiviamo la nostra capacità di ascolto della profonda saggezza del corpo e dei silenziosi sussurii dello spirito. Percorriamo con curiosità la spirale incrociando il nostro futuro e il nostro passato. Quando il corpo incontra lo spirito e il movimento incontra il momento possiamo fare esperienza del dissolverci nello spirito. Questa è la danza dello Spirito in Movimento "Soul IN Motion". Danzatore e coreografo in compagnie di danza nazionali ed internazionale nel 1994 ha incontrato Gabrielle Roth e, su sua indicazione, nello stesso anno ha iniziato ad insegnare 5Ritmi. Si è poi certificato nel 1998 come insegnante di 5Ritmi, nel 2001 di Soul Motion e nel 2019 di Open Floor.
Ha studiato per 14 anni Continuum con Susan Harper e questo ha influenzato molto il suo insegnamento.

living in a time of staggering crisis—personal, relational, social, environmental—we are often left vacant and numbed or overwhelmed and consumed by what’s wrong, ugly, distasteful, out of sync. despair seems to be the currency of our global pandemic, with a stranglehold on our hopes and dreams.
what if our willingness to source and celebrate beauty makes more beauty possible. what if any act of kindness, kissing a child’s scraped knee, smiling at a stranger, drinking in the scent of a flower, plants the seeds for more beauty and love to bloom in the world. let’s attend to the soil of our lives, inner and outer, to accumulate and cultivate the seeds of simple beauty.
through the lens of curiosity, wonder and awe, we will use movement, poetry, art, witnessing and ritual to hone our hearts and sing to our souls, the potent and powerful healing and unifying qualities of diverse and unique beauty.
Soul Motion is a conscious dance practice that supports students in an inquiry of dance as creative expression, and as a conversation of relationship to self, other, and reality. Soul Motion conscious dance practice values each participant for their unique and distinct voice in the body choir. All are needed. All are welcome. No experience necessary except for the one we get living a life with a desire to become awake to what it actually dancing.

He performed and choreographed in companies both nationally and internationally for 15 years.
He met Gabrielle Roth early in 1994. Later that year, at the request of Gabrielle, he began teaching the 5Rhythms. Michael got his 5Rhythms certification in 1998 and teacher certification in Soul Motion™ in 2001. He is also an Open Floor teacher.He has been a 14 year student of continuum montage with Susan Harper and his teaching has been greatly influenced by her mentoring.
