Perth-Hills born Singer-Songwriter, Michael Day brings his alt/folk original tunes to our backyard on Sunday April 17, and entry is free!Using his background in classical guitar and song-writing finesse, Michael creates technical folk pieces, rich in character and full of introspection and ponder. With driving rhythms, ambient guitar lines, twangy banjo parts and vocal harmonies, it's no wonder he was nominated for a WAM Song of the Year Award for his single ‘Storm’ in 2021.
The band have played alongside acts such as Donna Simpson (the Waifs), Vdelli, Coterie, Dulcie, and Joan and the Giants, as well as a prime slot at the Bridgetown Blues Festival last year. Don't miss the chance to see them live. You can listen in advace below so you know all the songs when you arrive!
