Artist Statement/ Intro: Michael Clark Bacani

Bay Area-born and raised currently residing in San Francisco, his photography focuses on capturing raw and candid moments of everyday life - elevating those everyday moments into something visually compelling. These moments can be something like people on their commute, gatherings in public spaces, eye-catching objects like a brightly colored carousel and a Ferris wheel, or the interaction between architecture and light. What he aspires to convey with his work is this essence of “living vicariously through”, showcasing an intimate understanding of places, people, and the rhythms of everyday life.
