Charlie Roberts is a troubadour. Originally hailing from the high desert of California, his live shows are as special as they are rare. Charlie is the recipient of the SoCal Live Acoustic Performer of the Year. He has written and performed for the Independent Syndication TV show “Dog Tales”. “Dog Tales is in its 20th season and has been seen by 25,000,000 viewers. Charlie has written music and performed for the Showtime series “Wild Things”, a road trip story of three transgender women traveling off the main highway and encountering mayhem and mischief along the way. He also has written for “And Their Off!” a Fox production featuring Sean Astin.
Charlie’s shows are engaging with promises of hope. The songs are sweet, bouncy and drenched in sticky hooks. Opportunity has brought back Carina’s Listening Lounge inaugural act (June, 2024) . There will be some surprises best experienced in the intimate listening environment at Carina’s.
