One that is for certain is art still is one way we can express ourselves and share whats on our hearts and minds as we grapple and navigate these uncertain times. Mic Drop @__.mic.drop.__ throws down this month The LAST SUNDAY of February the 23rd at @the418project 155 South River Street @downtownsantacruz and we are inviting you to come join us..... share with us your voice, 5 minute signups day of at the venue all genres welcome to perform 5:30 to 8:30pm. We have a special guest a well known PUNK POET flying in from The UK @redeemingf "Redeeming Features" - This dude got his visa just for this trip to the states to throw down some poetry.... his whole vibe is taking note of what is "Redeeming" and featuring that throughout his life and body of work. We encourage you to come witness his voice and share yours. More About Redeeming Features: Redeeming Features is a punk poet from the UK. Visceral. Hyperactive. Absurd. He has opened for a number of UK punk bands, including Soft Play at the legendary Brixton Academy in London. He gigs constantly in the UK and Europe and has a book published called Sniffing Glue and Playing Chicken on the M4. All profits from the book go to the UK mental health charity MIND.
