Mic Check is our community karaoke night—a playful evening designed for queer women and sapphics 35+ who want to laugh, meet new people, and spend a fun night together.

Whether you're the first person to grab the mic, only sing in a group, belt out every power ballad, or never sing a single note, you'll fit right in. This night is about having fun together, not giving the best performance.

Unlike DUET, our karaoke matchmaking event for singles, Mic Check is all about community. Come solo, bring a friend, your partner or bring your whole crew. The goal is simple: enjoy a great night with great people.

Here's how it works

We'll reserve private karaoke rooms based on the number of tickets sold. Each room will develop its own personality—maybe '90s throwbacks, Broadway anthems, guilty pleasures, country, Disney, rock, or whatever the group decides.

You're free to:

• Pop into different karaoke rooms throughout the evening
• Hang out in the bar between songs
• Meet new people as you move from room to room
• Stay with one group or mix it up all night

There's no schedule to follow and no pressure to perform. Explore, mingle, sing, laugh, and make the night your own.

Your ticket includes:

• Access to all Mixtape karaoke rooms
• One complimentary drink
• Three hours of community, laughter, and connection

Muzette also offers a happy hour menu with food and drink specials available for purchase throughout the evening.

At Mixtape Sapphics, we believe some of the best friendships begin when people have permission to simply have fun. Karaoke has a way of bringing strangers together faster than almost anything else—and whether you're singing your heart out or just applauding from the couch, you'll be part of the experience.
