Sound Exhibit: Beat Gallery: Miami Music Week Edition 2026

During Miami Music Week — when most events spotlight DJs — Sound Exhibit: Beat Gallery puts the focus on the architects behind the sound: the producers.
Part of the Sound Exhibit Series, this event treats sound the way a gallery treats visual art — something to experience intentionally in a shared environment.
The evening will feature a curated lineup of producers performing 10–15 minute beat sets, showcasing their sound in a focused listening environment.
Visual projections may accompany sets when available.

Producer Showcase Submissions
Producers can submit 3 beats to be considered for one of the 2 open showcase slots.
Submission Fee: $15
Submission Deadline: March 22
Selected Producers Announced: March 23
The Patron Pot
Throughout the night the audience contributes to The Patron Pot — a collective tip fund supporting the producers.
At the end of the showcase, the producer with the strongest set takes the entire pot.
Open Mic / Cypher
After the producer showcase the floor opens for a short open mic and cypher session where MCs, singers, and spoken word artists can collaborate with producers in the room.
Artist & Producer Networking
The night closes with an artist and producer networking session, giving creatives a chance to connect during Miami Music Week.
Ableton Activation
The event will also feature a special collaboration with Michael Cupino, Ableton Certified Trainer, with an Ableton-focused activation connected to the event.
Ableton Workshop (Daytime Activation)
A special daytime workshop will be led by Michael Cupino, Ableton Certified Trainer. The session demonstrates how DJs and producers can use Ableton Live to create remixes, perform live edits, structure hybrid DJ/production sets, and integrate production tools into DJ performances.
